An American Airlines pilot failed a breath test at London's Heathrow airport, the airline said Thursday. The pilot was tested after security alerted airport police. The pilot was supposed to be flying 204 passengers to Chicago. After a delay, a replacement pilot was found and the plane took off. It makes you wonder just how many pilots fly over the limit?

Donald Campbell's iconic Bluebird K7 will be allowed to breach Coniston Water's 10mph speed limit. The park authority's chief executive Richard Leafe said: "It was a majority vote in favour of running Bluebird K7 on Coniston Water for a one-off proving trial. "But members were against the regular running of Bluebird K7 on the lake. They felt that would be a step too far."

An artist's impression has been drawn of the latest suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. The image shows a "very ugly" man who appeared to watch the apartment where the three-year-old's family was staying on the day before she vanished. This latest image is based on the account of a British woman on holiday in Praia da Luz. She said she saw the man, with pitted skin and a large nose, twice in the days before Madeleine's disappearance and told police he was "very ugly", about 5ft 10ins tall, slim and was wearing casual clothes, probably jeans. Former detective inspector Dave Edgar, 52, and former detective sergeant Arthur Cowley, 57, are being employed by the McCanns to continue the search for their daughter.

Ben Southall has won the "Best job in the world". He know has the keys to his multi-million caretakers cottage. Ben is 34 and beat off 34,000 other contestants to be kinged the caretaker of Hamilton Island on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. The job pays £74,000 for just six months and requires him to swim and explore - plus occasionally clean the pool. Its a tough job but someones got to do it!

Judy Trunnel is the first American resident to die from Swine Flu. She was only 33 yrs old and carrying a child. Luckily the healthy baby was delivered by caesarean. Texas health officials are suggesting that the flu had exacerbated “chronic underlying health conditions”. Judy worked with disabled children as a teacher. The only other death from swine flu in the US has been a toddler from Mexico City.
