Since the UK General Elections, everyone has been talking about a Labour/Tory and Liberal Democrats coalition. Why is a Labour - Conservative colaition never explored?

What is going on with the Labour Party?! Gordon Brown is insisting he wont walk away. Is this because he doesnt want to give up on attempt to clean up the economy or is it because he doesnt want to go down in history as the worst prime minister ever?!

Congrats to Sonia Sotomayor and thank you for what you will bring to the justice table. I am confident that President Obama has thoroughly checked his decision and I support his choice to select a new twist, perspective to our system. After all, we are a melting pot and the pot should reflect this.

John Edwards is a low life as most politicians are. I hope he gets what he deserves...the wrath of hell!

US Captain Phillips has just arrived home after his ordeal as a hostage of pirates. It is obviously going to be made into a film. It has Pirates, the way he gave himself up as hostage and let his crew go free, his escape attempt, the shooting by navy snipers of three of the pirates when it seemed he was about to be shot. Harrison Ford playing him?

MP's say they have done nothing wrong, they have stayed within the rules re their expenses. That is possibly true BUT they are not following the spirit of the rules. An accountant can STRETCH rules to save business pay corporation tax by having more expenses put through. Employees have no choice but to pay full tax on their earnings. Same as usual.

The more I read about Fred Goodwin the madder I get. He allegedly had £1000 a roll wallpaper for his reception area at his office, got his new carpet replaced three times as the shade was not quite right, flew in fresh fruit from France in his private jet. He sounds deranged but what about the people who were accepting this ridiculous eccentricity

Looks like Barack loves our Queen. He says she puts the Great into Britain and that she is the number one reason he loves the UK.

My mum was out of work a few years back and decided not to go on the dole. Now she has to pay £300 to top up her NI contributions!!! If she had signed on for state benefit she would have been exempt from paying the shortfall!! Its all wrong!!!

The public sector workers to receive their 2% plus annual salary increases until 2011. Includes NHS staff, police, teachers. Meanwhile, the private sector are having to take salary cuts, salary freezing, or going on to short time, to stop redundancies. They also get pensions. Ridiculous.
